About the business and the role

The Alzburg Resort is a 4-star rating resort located in the heart of Mansfield, with access to the North East High Country and only a short drive to Mt Buller. The Resort has 44 rooms with a mix of Studios, Spa rooms, and Apartments. The Resort also has an onsite Tour Company and Ski Hire outlet which operates throughout the winter season

*We are currently seeking a motivated individual to assist within Front Office / Hotel Reception

*Please note accommodation is not provided.

Note:  

*This is a seasonal job

*No staff accommodation is provided but the rental property is widely available in town through real estate agents.

About the role:

• Casual role

• Must be available to work early mornings/evenings and especially weekends

• Hotel Reception duties

• Work closely with the Executives to support all administrative areas such as admin reception, event, and tour diary software management.

• Be proactive with distributing accommodation requests from travel agents, group bookings, and direct clients.

• Coordinating groups and tour travelers

• Providing general sales support to Manager

• Accurately recording event inquiries

• Coordinating invoices and payments

• Collating various management reports including financial and client data

• Assisting with coordinating in-house sales event

• Maintaining communication with our existing customers

• Assisting with other marketing activities such as promotions, events, etc

About you:

• Hospitality Experiences

• Excellent communication skills

• Creative flair and an eye for detail

• Proven successful record in a similar team environment – experience in MICE/events industry is a bonus

• An energetic, fun, and enthusiastic personality

• Ability to meet deadlines and tasks within a very busy environment

• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations with your own initiative

• Be confident and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Socials Media) coupled with a proven ability to learn Company Software systems quickly
