What does the Mt Buller day tour package include?
The package includes round-trip coach transportation from Melbourne to Mt Buller and gate entry to the resort. Equipment hire, lessons, and other activities are available at additional costs.
Can I hire ski or snowboard equipment through Alzburg Resort?
Yes, Alzburg Resort offers an onsite ski hire outlet with a wide range of equipment. Pre-booking your equipment online can save you 15% compared to on-the-day rentals.
Do I need to book my equipment in advance?
We recommend booking your equipment online in advance to secure availability and enjoy a 15% discount off our standard walk-in rates.
Do I need a ticket for Mt Buller?
Yes. If you are driving, you will need a Gate Entry Pass for your car. If you would like to access the mountain, you will need to purchase a lift ticket or our Intro to Ski or Snowboard.
What happens if i loose, break or damage my equipment?
Hiring equipment from Alzburg Resort has a clear policy; what you take from our shop must be returned and returned not damaged.
We offer insurance against accidental damage, this can be added on when buying online or in the shop.
If hired equipment is lost or stolen, you will need to pay for the equipment that hasn’t been returned. We will continue to look for the lost or stolen gear as it may be returned during the season. In such a situation we would contact you and provide your monies back in full.
Are lessons available for beginners during the day tour?
Yes, we offer intro to ski and intro to snowboard tickets which are suitable for beginners. It's recommended to book these lessons in advance to ensure availability.
How much time will I have on the mountain during the day tour?
You'll arrive at Mt Buller by approximately 10:30 am and depart at 4:00 pm, giving you around 5.5 hours to enjoy the mountain's activities.
What clothing sizes are available for hire?
We offer a wide range of clothing sizes, from children's sizes (age 0-12) to adult sizes ranging from XS to 10XL, ensuring a comfortable fit for everyone.
